Dr. Amber Jimenez

Dr. Jimenez embodies the ideal qualities one seeks in a dermatologist, combining a wealth of expertise with genuine compassion for her patients’ dermatological needs.

With an impressive educational background that includes studying medicine at the esteemed University of Utah School of Medicine, followed by an internship at Tulane University and completion of her residency at the University of Utah Department of Dermatology, she brings a high level of professionalism and knowledge to her practice. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University further underscores her commitment to excellence in the field.

In addition to skin cancer detection, treatment, and prevention, Dr. Jimenez has a special interest in treating autoimmune connective tissue and blistering diseases of the skin. She completed additional training as a research fellow in autoimmune dermatology at the University of Utah. She is a member of the MDS and Rheumatologic Dermatology Society.

Her proficiency in Spanish enhances her ability to connect with a diverse patient population, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity within the community.

Dr. Jimenez is eager to establish roots in eastern North Carolina with her husband and children. She warmly invites patients to meet with her, promising a caring and welcoming atmosphere where every patient is treated with the utmost respect and empathy.

She is now taking appointments at the Supply and Hampstead locations.
