Dermatology Physician AssistantMrs. Baker is thrilled to be back in North Carolina and treating a variety of dermatological issues. She and her husband are natives, and to them, Wilmington is truly home. “There are so many treatments available for skin cancer treatment and prevention”, says Mrs. Baker. “I love to help patients transform their skin”.
She left the number one dermatology practice in Central Florida in 2015 to join the Summit team. Prior to dermatology, Mrs. Baker practiced family medicine for five years. Her practice includes but is not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, actinic keratosis, verruca, dysplastic nevus, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell, and melanoma. She is also interested in cosmetic dermatology and will help you develop a customized treatment plan to meet your goals.
Mrs. Baker received her Physician Assistant Master’s Degree in 2008 from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and is BLS and CPR certified.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, paddle boarding, swimming, and traveling.
