Sara Varzari, FNP-C

With several years of experience at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Department of Dermatology, Sara Varzari brings extensive knowledge and clinical expertise to her patients at Summit. She has treated thousands of patients with a wide range of skin conditions and is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Prior to her work in dermatology, Sara spent several years in the university’s inpatient hospital setting. She also served on the faculty at Duquesne University as a clinical instructor and professor in the nursing program. Sara earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Duquesne University.

Sara is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Nurses Association, and the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.

Her dermatology practice includes, but is not limited to, skin cancer detection, acute and chronic dermatitis, psoriasis and biologic management, all types of alopecia, autoimmune skin conditions, and more.

Sara is currently accepting appointments at our Supply location.
Sara recently relocated from Pennsylvania to North Carolina and is enjoying exploring her new community in her free time.
