Welcome to Telehealth at Summit

How does telehealth work:

It’s easier than you think! With your Apple device, iPhone or Android mobile device or patient portal, your Summit provider will call you to review your condition. Instructions for downloading the required app are just a click away.

What conditions can be treated by a Telehealth visit?

Almost all conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. It may be determined at your telehealth visit that an in-office therapeutic procedure is needed. We will schedule a time that is convenient for you at the end of your consultation.

What if a prescription is needed?

No problem. Your prescription order will be sent directly to your pharmacy for pick up or delivery.

Will my insurance cover my visit?

Telehealth visits are now covered by most carriers. Our patient concierge will help you determine your coverage and copay when you schedule your appointment.

FaceTime is an application that is automatically downloaded in to your Apple/IPhone hard drive. It works as a normal call but allows you to make/receive a phone call with 2-way video capability. There is no extra charge on your phone bill to use this service.

All you need to do is make sure your FaceTime application is turned on. To do this please follow the instructions below:

  • On your IPhone device click on ‘Settings’. This will be a button that looks like a clockwork part.
  • Once in settings scroll down until you see ‘Facetime’.
  • Click on ‘Facetime’ and make sure you have it set to receive FaceTime calls. If your FaceTime app is turned on the circle beside Facetime will be in the right hand position with a green background. Under that you will also see ‘People can contact you on all your devices with FaceTime using your phone number or email address’.
  • If your FaceTime is not set to ‘ON’ the circle beside it will be in the left hand position with a grey background. To turn it on you just need to click the circle next to FaceTime and this will put the circle to the right hand side with the green background.
