We always prefer to see our patients in person for a consultation before a surgical procedure, but our plastic surgery team understands that it isn’t always possible or practical to make multiple trips to the office.
Our Plastic Surgery Consultation Process
Virtual consultations take place over Skype, Facetime or our Pocket Patient App. Call our office, to schedule your appointment. Our plastic surgery team will walk you through the process before your scheduled appointment. If you have any questions about how to properly set up your computer or smart phone for the consultation, don’t hesitate to ask at that time. We will help you text or upload pictures though the patient portal when we schedule your appointment.
We recommend positioning your computer or smart phone in a comfortable, private, well-lit room. We want you to feel comfortable talking about your procedure. It’s important that we can clearly see your areas of concern. Our plastic surgery team will call you right before your scheduled appointment to help you log into the app. Expect to get an email/text with a link to your virtual consultation. We’ll take care of the rest!
Personal Care at Your Convenience
During your virtual consultation, we ask about your personal goals, questions and concerns. Dr. Ricciardelli will help you decide what is best procedure to achieve the look you’ve been imagining and what is possible. Everything is tailored to fit you. Virtual consultations usually take about 30 minutes, but a lot will depend on your questions. We recommend that you make a list. Don’t be shy!
Whether you’re interested in having a new procedure or seeking a second opinion we are here for you.
Meeting Face-to-Face
While most of the consultation process can be performed online, Dr Ricciardelli believes it is important to meet in person before your procedure so that you can feel comfortable and confident moving forward. After your virtual consultation, we will schedule a time for an in-office consultation. At that time, we will discuss possible dates for surgery and payment options. Our patient care coordinator will be with you every step of way. To get started simply click the Schedule an Appointment button below and chose “Virtual Plastic Surgery consultation”. We will call/text you shortly with an appointment time.
