Susan Sobel, NP

Susan Sobel brings 12 years of experience as a nurse practitioner to Summit. Prior to graduating from Vanderbilt University with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2012, Susan was awarded the Park Scholarship from North Carolina State University. Park Scholars dedicate themselves to making a positive difference in their communities while demonstrating integrity, honesty, and conscientiousness. Upon graduating from NC State with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, she served the community of Washington DC as a public school teacher through Teach for America. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is fellowship trained in dermatology and is a member of the SDPA.

Her dermatology practice includes but is not limited to skin cancer detection, treatment, and prevention in adults. Susan is taking appointments in our Wilmington location.

Susan and her husband Lance have three children. When not at work, Susan is busy coaching, cheering from the sidelines, or enjoying pickleball and volunteering at church.
